The latest edition of the 2021 season of Sixth Jazz AF presents on the 26th of November the Herbie Hancock Special. The 81-year-old American pianist and composer is one of the last remaining jazz giants, a musician who has influenced not only jazz but pop music worldwide.
For the tribute, the guests Giann Thomasi (sax) and Fábio Oliveira (piano) are joined by curator musicians Tiê Pereira (bass) and Mauro Borghezan (drums). The Friday Jazz AF - Herbie Hancock Special will be on 26/11 at 20pm. The show will also be broadcast live on the AF Florianópolis YouTube channel.

Values: free. Access is on a first-come, first-served basis, starting at 19pm. To enter, prior registration is required on the website of the French Alliance of Florianópolis, as well as proof of complete vaccination against COVID-19 for adults (over 18 years old). Adolescents (12-17 years old) will be able to access the event with one dose and children are exempt (as they have not been able to get vaccinated yet). Tests will not be accepted. Spaces are limited to respect social distance and the use of a mask is mandatory.
