The American Scofield, now 66, has an enviable career in international music, built on strong partnerships with the legend Miles Davis and the avant-garde trio Medeski, Martin and Wood, among many others. For three and a half years, the guitarist and composer was part of Miles Davis' group and participated in the albums Star People (1983), Decoy (1984) and You're Under Arrest (1985) - the title track that bears his signature - where his guitar stands out in the duet with Miles' trumpet.
