After receiving more than 6.000 people in the 2018 editions, the musical project Sexta Jazz, consolidated in the Santa Catarina instrumental scene, begins another series of 10 editions in 2019 on the terrace of Iguatemi Florianópolis with a guest of weight and tribute to what is considered the greatest jazz's greatest tenor sax. João Paulo Ramos Barbosa, Jota P., saxophonist of the Hermeto Pascoal group and one of the most prominent musicians in the São Paulo instrumental scene, is the special guest for the premiere of Sexta Jazz AF in 2019. Edition number 51 of the project revisits the repertoire by John Coltrane, one of the most influential musicians of the XNUMXth century, and brings together Jota P. the musicians Tiê Fernandes (acoustic bass), Mauro Borghezan (drums) and Edilson Fortes (electronic piano).
