Os Titans they are tireless. After releasing CD and DVD of the first Brazilian rock opera, “Doze Flores Amarelas”, and the three EPs of the Trio Acústico series, with a mix of great hits, the group fulfills the desire of fans who have been demanding since 2017 a celebration for the twenty years of the classic Titans Acoustic MTV. This homage will reach the stage of the Ademir Rosa Theater, at the Integrated Cultural Center (CIC), on June 4, at 21 pm.
Launched in 1997, Titans Acoustic MTV was an extraordinarily successful project, the most successful of all MTV Acoustics, a phenomenon with more than two million copies sold, winning gold, platinum and diamond records.
Branco Mello, Sergio Britto e Tony Bellotto put together an affective and casual show, in which the three - with only guitars, piano, acoustic guitar and bass - recreate songs from Titãs Acústico MTV and add other gems from their repertoire, such as "Epitafio", " Isso", "While there is Sol”, “Because I Know It's Love”, “Toda Cor” and many others. This show will also feature special guest appearances by Mário Fabre, Beto Lee and bassist Caio Góes Neves, who will replace Branco Mello until his return to the stage. The show is directed by Otávio Juliano.
Among the songs, the members - called by fans as Trio de Ferro - tell stories and exchange ideas with the audience, taking advantage of the intimate atmosphere of the show, a rare thing in their long career.
