O Project Itaguaçu + Music, from Shopping Itaguaçu, invites singer and composer Ras Bernardo to lead the program on November 18th and 19th, bringing reggae classics. The former lead singer of the band Cidade Negra brings well-known rhythm songs and original hits to his repertoire.
Based in Florianópolis, the singer and composer has his history intertwined with that of reggae in Brazil. He was one of those responsible for popularizing the rhythm, especially when he worked as lead singer of the band Cidade Negra. After the success of the first two albums, Ras Bernardo left the band, thus beginning his solo career. Currently, his shows are in SoundSystem format, a popular style in Jamaica.
The presentations will begin on Saturday, the 18th, from 18pm to 21pm, in the food court on Floor L1, and on Sunday, the 19th, from 18pm to 21pm, in the food court on Floor L2.
