O show Maria Rita's MPB Diva will mark the debut of the +Música project, which will bring big names from MPB and Samba to the Fields stage. In this current work, entirely dedicated to samba, Maria Rita brings 12 songs written by renowned composers, including Davi Moraes, Moraes Moreira, Carlinhos Brown, Zeca Pagodinho and Marcelo Camelo. Transitioning from lilting samba to court samba, from love songs to the pain of saudade, the new album has a clear guiding thread for Maria Rita: the song Amor e Música, a B-side by Moraes Moreira, now recorded as a samba.
