Eric Clapton is an English guitarist, considered by many to be the greatest guitarist alive. Former member of classic bands Cream e The Yardbirds, he was the only one to be nominated three times for the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame.
For many years, fan requests multiplied whenever the guitarist Marcelo d'Ávila presented itself. The physical appearance and the ways of playing and singing gave rise to the show Eric Clapton Cover.
In 2015, the guitarist started his new show, called Crossroads, being the only Latin American cover that brings in its luggage acoustic and electric versions of the legendary guitarist. In the presentation, there will be no shortage of classics, such as Tears In Heaven, Cocaine, Layla, Wonderful Tonight, I Shot The Sheriff, in addition to the song gotta get over, from the English guitarist's new album.
In the show, Marcelo also pays tribute to the Brazilian guitarist Celso Blues Boy, one of the icons of blues and national rock, as he has participated in several editions of Eric Clapton Cover.
On the stage, Marcelo d'Ávila counts with the support of six more musicians: Leandro Amaral (guitar and guitar), Sergio Lamin (bass and vocals), Saulo S. Oliveira (drums), Johnny Sontag (piano, hamond and vocals) Daniela Longaray (backing vocals) and Bruna Martini (backing vocal). The duration of this show will be approximately (02) two hours.
