On Sunday, March 8th, Raul de Souza, an icon of Brazilian instrumental music, who takes the stage at Sesc Prainha, is considered by international critics as one of the greatest trombonists in the world.
Inventor of the Souzabone instrument, a variation of the trombone, with four valves and tuned in C, the artist has played with jazz stars such as Sarah Vaughan, Freddie Hubbard, Lionel Hampton, Ron Carter, Stanley Clarke, Sérgio Mendes and Tom Jobim.
