Icons of Brazilian music, Toquinho, Ivan Lins and the vocal group MPB4, who made history in MPB in the 70s and 80s, celebrate five decades of road on the stages of Brazil and the world. The show will recall the artists' most famous songs. Toquinho, with his unparalleled guitar, combining technique, virtuosity and sensitivity in hits such as Watercolor e Orly samba.
Ivan Lins, master of harmonies, with internationally known Dinorah e Starting over. And, finally, the vocal group MPB4, a great interpreter of the best known composers of Brazilian music, in unforgettable songs such as “Amigo é pra essa Coisas” and “Roda viva”. The inspiration for the show was the XNUMXth anniversary of Toquinho's career, who saw the date as a unique opportunity to be among his friends. The musicians have been scene companions on other occasions. Toquinho played with MPB4 many times, having even recorded a CD and DVD together in 2008 (“Toquinho and MPB4 – 40 years of music”). With Ivan Lins, the partnership took place a short time ago, about two years, although they had already had other sporadic meetings.
