The Restaurante Mediterráneo at Pousada Oceanomare hosts the show of Yamandu Costa, one of the greatest guitarists in Brazil.
Son of singer Clari Marcon and multi-instrumentalist and music teacher Algacir Costa. yamandu he started studying guitar at the age of seven with his father and improved with Lúcio Yanel, an Argentine virtuoso living in Brazil. At the age of seventeen, he performed for the first time in São Paulo at the Circuito Cultural Banco do Brasil, produced by Estúdio Tom Brasil, and, from then on, he became recognized as a revelation musician of the Brazilian guitar.
yamandu plays diverse styles such as choro, bossa nova, milonga, tango, jazz, samba and chamaé, it is difficult to fit him into a main musical current, since he mixes all styles and creates interpretations of rare personality on his seven-string guitar.
