In commemoration of the National Day of France, the Ministry of Culture and the French Alliance of Florianópolis present the 14th of July Classic, a concert with the violinist daniel ispas and the String Quintet of the Santa Catarina Philharmonia Orchestra. The concert program includes French (Darius Milhaud and Jules Massenet), Brazilian (Heitor Villa-Lobos) and internationally known (Johann Sebastian Bach and Gioacchino Rossini) compositions.
O Quintet and from Santa Catarina Philharmonia Orchestra, which was founded in 2009 and is made up of around 30 professional musicians. under the regency of Gustavo Fontes, performed, in recent years, more than 60 concerts in Florianópolis and other cities in Santa Catarina.
the french guest daniel ispas, comes to Brazil especially to participate in the concert. It integrates the National Orchestra of the Pays de la Loire, created in 1971, which today has more than 10 thousand members; and is also a violin teacher at the renowned Conservatory of Nantes (France).
