Held by the Municipal Department of Culture and Franklin Cascaes Foundation, sponsored by the State Government Funcultural and supported by the Goethe Institute and the Badesc Cultural Foundation, the Florianópolis Dance Biennial reaches its second edition with a proposal for continuity.
The opening, on the 6th, at Fundação Cultural Badesc, is marked by the approach to the show The Rite of Spring, composed by Stravisky and choreographed by Nijinsky. On the same day, in the afternoon, there will be a video lecture on the subject with Professor Vera Torres. There is still the exhibition of the video The Rite of Spring, in the version by Pina Bausch and Pit Weyrich. At night, the event moves to Teatro Ademir Rosa, at CIC, with the show Carta de Amor ao Inimigo, by Grupo Cena 11. On the 7th, at night, at the Teatro Gov. Pedro Ivo, Quasar Cia. de Dança, from Goiânia, presents No Singular, a reflection on the speed and simultaneity of information in the contemporary world. On the 8th, early in the morning, Girassóis, by Cie Druw in São Paulo, at the Álvaro de Carvalho Theater, is suitable for children and young people, portraying the creative universe of painter Vincent van Gogh. The closing takes place at night, with A Sagração da Primavera, performed by Balé Teatro Guaíra, from Curitiba.Start: 06/05/2014 13:00
