For a week, Florianópolis will host the fourth edition of the festival, which has already entered the city's calendar of events. In 2014, the laughs Catarina will receive the artists Ricardo Puccetti e Carlos Siomioi, from the Lume Teatro group (SP), biribinha (AL), Nino Costrini (Argentina), Gardi Hutter (Switzerland) - considered the best clown in the world -, Hillary Chaplain (USA), atrapatrupe e circus fever (both from Florianopolis).
Tickets for all shows will be charged at the end of each performance, when the public will be able to pay the amount they think is fair for the artist. This practice is known as pass the hat, common in several parts of Brazil and the world, but seen as a novelty for the Island, but it will be of great importance for the viability of the laughs Catarina. In this way, the public will be able to contribute to the coming of an important event for the cultural and artistic class of the city, as well as for the spectators, who will have the chance to meet great clowns in the world.
