O Acoustic Sounds of the World aims to present the public with a multicultural show, with the participation of big names in world music. During the two days of the event, the invited artists will reinterpret their songs using instruments from five continents, such as the djembe, popular in Africa, Portuguese guitar, characteristic of fado and the zither, quite common in folk music from the Alpine countries and Eastern Europe.
On the first night, the event welcomes the musician Renato Borghetti: Borghettinho. In the company of Daniel Sa, on the guitar, the gaucho, whose guide is the harmonica, is one of the Brazilian artists with the most solid international career, mixing folklore and modernity in his musicality, possessing an unmistakable style. This year, Borghettinho celebrates 30 years of career. The show also aims to collect children's instruments, educational toys or books, in addition to part of the proceeds being used to purchase musical instruments that will be donated to charities in Greater Florianópolis on Children's Day.Start: 26/09/2014 00:00
