In this traditional revelry so popular on the coast of Santa Catarina, a group of players dance and play with the ox, which dies and resurrects with the help of a faith healer. Papaya Ox is a very characteristic revelry of Florianópolis folklore and the group move ox, founded 21 years ago in Barra da Lagoa, is responsible for keeping this tradition alive.
