O UFSC Choir presents a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the recording of the first song officially known as Samba. Works by composers such as Noel Rosa, Caetano Veloso, Assis Valente, Ivone Lara and Chico Buarque compose the repertoire in homage to the centenary of samba. The event is directed and conducted by Miriam Moritz, also responsible for the creation alongside Fátima Mileo. The presentation is open to the community and tickets must be picked up one hour in advance at the venue.
