The play, which celebrates 60 years of career and 80 years of life of the actress's grande dame, Eva Wilma, presents an unretouched portrait of what it's like to be an actor. Revealing the backstage of all theaters of all times, it exposes with clarity and irony the power games, affections, ambitions, inspirations, needs and frustrations of professionals when they get together to rehearse a play.
Eve interprets White wake, a grand dame of the theater away from her craft for more than 30 years. Unexpectedly, she receives a visit from her most devoted fan – Tito Tapia, an expressionless actor who has spent most of his life caring for his sick mother and doing “bits” in theater and television. In possession of his inheritance and with a play written in memory of his late mother, Tito seeks out Blanca to confess his former love and make her a proposal: that she be the protagonist of the play when he returns to the stage.
The show still has the cast Genézio de Barros, Guilherme Weber, Luciana Borghi, Débora Veneziani and Felipe Guerra, which will be led by Renato Borgui and Elcio Nogueira Seixas, with text by one of the most prominent names in contemporary Peruvian theater, Eduardo Adrianzen.
