Saturday, October 20th, Albert Heller takes the stage of the Jurerê Classic Auditorium to present the piano recital in honor of Bach and Beethoven. In the repertoire are six preludes and Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier Fugues, in addition to Beethoven's Sonata Op.57 in F Minor "Appassionata". Bach and Beethoven are considered the fundamental pillars of classical music. By Bach, his most important audacious work for keyboard instruments was the Well-Tempered Clavier (1722), which consists of 24 Preludes and Fugues, each in a different key. The heart of Beethoven's piano work is his 32 Sonatas. Of these sonatas, one of the most famous is the dramatic Op. 57 (1804/05), which was nicknamed (not by him) the "Appassionata" on account of its extremely stormy and sweeping character. Beethoven himself long considered it his greatest and most important piano work.

Tickets are on sale on site, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 15 pm. They will also be on sale on the day of the Concert until 20pm. The Auditorium requests that you arrive at the venue 30 minutes in advance, as a reserved seat will not be sold, it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
