The show that rescues one of the main traditions of the Azorean settlers will be staged by the group Alivanta Meu Boi, from the Ingleses neighborhood. It is made up of about 15 children from the community, aged between 5 and 14, who participate in this important cultural preservation project. The theatrical and musical presentation is all done in song and verse and takes place in a very interactive way, with the participation of both children and adults. The show tells the story of Mateus, a simple man whose wife, Moreninha, is pregnant and wants to eat beef. As the show progresses, several characters enter the scene, each with their own story and music. They are: ox, vultures, healer, cowboy, goats, white and black bear, monkey, gorilla, bernúncia and its cub, Maricota, Marieta and Valdemar.
