Representatives of Brazilian gypsy jazz met for the first time during one of the editions of the Manouche jazz festival in Piracicaba and since then together they have accompanied international artists such as Jon Larsen and Irene Ypenburg, forming a 'dynamic duo', with a natural 'comradeship' and musical tuning combining sensitivity and refined technique, one of the characteristics of jazz manouche. The concert at the Bacchus Cavea Theater at the Nau Catarineta Cultural Center will be recorded with the purpose of releasing on CD-DVD, in the repertoire of Manouche and traditional jazz themes, classics from the gypsy songbook, authorial compositions and reinterpretations of tango and Brazilian music presenting a fusion of styles with visceral interpretation and sensitivity to 'gypsy' fashion.
