This Wednesday, the third edition of CIC 8:30 will host the Combo Sonoro Show, which will mark the meeting of Rivo Trio, Luiz Meira, Tatiana Cobbett e Marcoliva on stage at Teatro Ademir Rosa, at Centro Integrado de Cultura (CIC).
Tatiana Cobbett and Marcoliva: Celebrating 14 years of partnership, the duo of composers will take the stage at CIC, this Friday, to interpret songs with a strong poetic footprint, which travel through various aspects and mix great movements of Brazilian music, such as Tropicália, Clube da Corner and Mangrove Beat. The duo has recorded four CDs (Partners - 2000, Bendita Companhia - 2007, Música Súbita - 2010 and Corte Costura - 2013) and has been conquering audiences and critics with its strong lyrics and beautiful melodies. Rivo Trio Samba Jazz: Based on his solo work, from samba de roots, the singer-songwriter is accompanied by grandson fernandes (drums), Rafael Calegari (down) and Uiliam Pimenta (keyboard), which form the Rivo Trio Samba Jazz. The group was formed in 2011 with the aim of creating an original sound, with peculiar interpretations of great music classics, in addition to developing a repertoire of original songs. The concept of samba jazz that the trio adopted came from the strong influence of Brazilian music, with its solid rhythm, striking swing and sophisticated harmony, in addition to the references of American music, which through its improvisation, created a strong language in contemporary music. Luiz Meira: The singer and guitarist from Santa Catarina began his career at the age of 15 and has played with several important Brazilian music artists such as Gal Costa, Beto Guedes, Fátima Guedes, Sandra de Sá, Luiz Melodia.
