The Opening Concert of the 2016 Season of the Orquestra de Cordas da Ilha presents Brazilian composers, on the stage of Alvaro de Carvalho Theater. In the program, priority will be given to works by Jaime Zenamon, Marlo Nobre, Ney Rosauro, Alexandre Levy e Heitor Villa-Lobos.
The concert will have as soloist the violinist Oliver Yatsugafu, Master in Music and Doctor in Musical Arts from the University of Georgia (USA), considered one of the best and most talented Brazilian violinists of his generation. And also the guitarist and composer Marcos Pablo Dalmacio, Master in Music by UDESC, who has performed with orchestras and string quartets from Brazil and Argentina and as a guitarist in numerous presentations in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Portugal and Peru.
