A Age of Earthquakes – or It Will Get Worse is an essay-show about work in contemporary Brazil. The theme mobilizes the entire population - from the national congress to the butcher, from the ant to the cicada. In the universe of work, sacrifice, gratification, alienation and refusal coexist. For a scenic conversation on the subject, the works of Brecht, Melville, Aesop, Obrist, Büchner, Walt Disney and Prévieux are "convened", in addition to music by Alvarenga and Ranchinho, John Lennon, Chico Buarque and Adoniran. The result is a critical polyphony, which is brought to the stage just before the approval of the Labor and Social Security Reforms in the country.
