The play tells the story of two women, from different generations, who insist on upholding their beliefs. Ana Francisca is grandmother of Mariana , but their name is little known on the island where they live. She's just a healer, an old-timer, with customs in disuse, customs that came from overseas. Mariana, Suzana and Zecão they are young and live in times when medicine leaves healers meaningless. Mariana loves the sea, but doesn't know where she comes from, or where she's going. Through the encounter with this grandmother, Mariana will find some answers.
