The show The King's New Clothes is performed by Reminiscence Theater Group of Joaçaba and is part of the program for the penultimate stage of the project wind rose, which brings together groups of theater artists from all over the State of Santa Catarina. Synopsis: The King's New Clothes tells the story of a king so in love with his new clothes, that he spent all his money on them, the population of the kingdom lived with the commands and excesses of the vain king. One day, rogue guests disguised as weavers arrived in the city, who promised the king a fabric with the highest standards of colors and fabrics that had the specialty of appearing invisible to people devoid of intelligence, or those who were not fit for the positions they held. . It is in this context of conflict between the population and the king that topics such as consumption, ethics and politics began to be debated, providing important changes in the reign.
