Matheus, an old traveler, arrives with his cart pulled by a papaya ox, making room in the square for another of his stories. The cart turns into a stage and begins the story of Pai Chico and Catirina, who get into a big mess with the Colonel da Fazenda, owner of Boi Mimoso, because of a strange desire of Catirina. But thanks to Pajé, the situation ends in celebration.
There are many stories of Boi around Brazil, and this is one of them, or rather, it's a little bit of each one. Alevanta Boi is an animated show that rescues popular culture from the stories of ox songs, authored by Cidval Batista Jr. and direction of Max Reinert.
