The show The Adventures of the Sail Beetle. Ueba Group Notable Products (Caxias do Sul/RS) presents a reinterpretation of the classic Moby Dick. The play takes place around a junkyard, where two characters find themselves in a unique situation, confusing reality with fantasy: old Ismael tells and experiences his story through his VW Beetle, transforming the car into a boat, leading the spectator to travel with his delusions, to see up close the fury of revenge. Young Jonah, named after the prophet Jonah who was swallowed by the whale, enters history by throwing a ball against the Beetle and thus attracting the attention of old Ishmael. Together, the two set out on a surprising adventure, with sharks, mermaids, storms and a revenge-fueled hunt for the whale Moby Dick.
