Bohemian Show – Nau Catarineta

! - This event/schedule has already happened - !

The show Bohemia brings a reflection of the place of women in marginal art and denounces the withdrawal of rights and social advances conquered by women in Brazil. Thus, it walks on the threshold of the borders of what is proper or inappropriate for art, and brings the provocation about the importance of bohemia as a component in the construction of artistic making far from the spotlight and the big media. Art that, because it is marginalized, becomes potentially more transforming and challenging the reality, blurring borders on what is moral or immoral as well as reconstructing socially imposed places. When all this is linked to the female narrative, we have the Molotov cocktail necessary to spark discussions on several important and relevant issues of the present day, such as growing conservatism and the retreat in rights to public policies for women. The singer Jana Gularte, the guitarist Natalia Deliverance and the percussionist Uber, in partnership with the actresses Addia Furtado e Luz Aimee, under the direction of Tatiana Cobbett, present a repertoire of twelve songs, in which eleven are by Brazilian composers from various regions of the country, such as Patrícia Polayne (SE), Khristal Saraiva (RN), Fátima Guedes (RJ) and local composers, such as Iara Germer and Tereza Virgínia, that talk about the feminine universe, vicissitudes, desires and delights of what it is to be a woman and a marginal artist in a country like Brazil speaking from the place where they live: the island of Santa Catarina.
