The artistic collective The Transvestites was formed in 2005, in Fortaleza, and is composed of actors, transformers, visual artists, photographers, musicians, designers and advertisers. Since then, the collective has been responsible for carrying out research into the universe tranny. The first step in this process was the construction of the soil A Lady Flower.
The show BR Trans. The Transvestites Collective, brings together clippings and traces of lives based on research and conversations with transvestites, transformers and transsexuals on the streets and music venues Porto Alegre. Furthermore, it establishes the parallels and differences that exist between the Northeast and the Sul of the country, resulting in a show seen by the artist as an instrument of social transformation and changing paradigms. Silvero Pereira plays several characters who question the role of different aspects of society in the universe tranny through real facts and stories.
