A black boy - resident of the Guaianases neighborhood, east side of São Paulo - goes to the bakery on the first day of the year and takes a “picture” of a police officer. From then on he starts running and doesn't stop, which takes him on a marathon around the world, passing through countries in Latin America and Africa. Along the way he is hit by 111 gunshots from the police officer who pursues him. Little holes that open shamelessly and the wind that scares away the picumã. “Buraquinhos ou The wind is the enemy of picumã” is a denunciation of the genocide of the young, black and peripheral population with strong touches of fantastic realism.
