O FITA - International Festival of Animated Theater reaches its 8th edition and arrives in Florianópolis from the 16th to the 23rd of August with the aim of expanding the access of people from Santa Catarina to animated theater shows, promoting its different languages to the public of all ages. The show Chosen Tales is an adaptation of the homonymous book by the writer Luís Pimentel made for puppet theater by the Spanish puppeteer, Marcos Pena. In it, there are several characters with unique characteristics: A sick mother, a desolate husband, a son who leaves, a boy in love, a girl not so much, a despot stepmother, a sad father and a resigned son will pass from words to actions, from reading to action, from the book to the stage.
