the puppet show John and the Beanstalk, which has been enchanting children and adults with its original technique, tells the story of a humble boy, who exchanges all his saved money for three magic beans. Once planted, the beanstalk gains height: It grows so much, but so much, that it reaches the heavens, taking João to a castle in the clouds, where a giant holds the harp of joy and the chicken that lays eggs. Now, the boy will have to face the giant alone, going through great adventures to rescue the prisoners and himself.
The whole show is performed under ultra-violet light, producing a magical effect that hides the manipulators and gives the puppets more life. The show takes place on the 17th and 18th of May at Dona Bilica's Circus.Start: 17/05/2014 20:00
