On the 6th and 7th of May, the doors of the Ademir Rosa Theater, at CIC, are open to receive the children's show "Sweetland – The Wonderful World of Insects", features dazzling costumes and choreography, real and virtual sets, as well as previously unreleased songs.
Docelândia has text and direction of the carioca Ludi Simões and brings to the scene twelve actors and singers, ten dancers, an orchestra made up of twelve musicians who perform 14 unpublished and exclusive songs, with rhythms and melodies composed to be eternalized in the history of Brazilian musical theater. The original soundtrack was composed by Luiz Zago, Ludi Simões and Diogo Rosa. In addition, the musical moves a technical team of around eighty professionals.
Synopsis: Teodoro is a worker bee who dreams of leaving the hive where he lives to visit Docelândia, a legendary place where supposedly there is plenty of food, happiness for all and equality between peoples. While planning his trip, he meets Princess Giovanna, a beautiful little bee, and finds himself torn between dream and love. Jealous, Zoltan, the head wasp of the Kingsguard, teams up with an army of Cockroaches to destroy the hive. Helped by Margô, a singing Cicada who is a kind of "fairy godmother", our heroes find themselves on a fun and dangerous adventure to save the kingdom and restore peace.
