The show Flour with Sugar or On the Sustenance of Boys and Men, from Coletivo Negro, from São Paulo, will open the third season of BQ(en)cena.
The work is the scenic and poetic materiality that the playwright, actor and director, Jé Oliveira, chose to formalize his investigation into the construction of peripheral black masculinity. The show seeks an intimate relationship with the audience through the spoken and sung word and, for that, it uses the poetic construction of the scenic presence. Sound and imagery landscapes materialize through the act of telling, exposing, reflecting and dialectizing the experience of being black in urbanity.Start: 13/10/2017 22:30
