The show aims to bring, through dance, Brazilianness as a theme. It pays tribute to the legacy of great icons of Brazilian culture, such as Ziraldo, Monteiro Lobato, Romero Britto, Portinari, Lampião and Maria Bonita, Caetano Veloso, Roberto Carlos, Vinícius de Moraes, Chico Buarque, Franklin Cascaes, Chico Xavier, Chico Anysio, Maurício de Souza, Clarice Lispector, Karol Conka, and Fernanda Abreu. Making use of artistic, cultural and corporal language, and mixing the content of Social History, History of Music, Visual Arts and Brazilian Culture, the show is able to awaken in the public the desire for art, encouraging discussion about the richness of Brazilian identity and its various facets. Arriving in its eighth edition, Figuras do Meu Brasil has already become part of the annual tradition of the Cacá Berka Center for Art and Dance, generating the development of its students through its teaching method and creating audiences for the dissemination of knowledge with different themes each year.
