From the 1st to the 30th of September, Florianópolis receives the 11th edition of the Festival Palco Giratório Sesc - largest performing arts event in the state. Theater, dance, circus, music and urban interventions are part of the programme, which also includes workshops and debates. For this year, there will be a total of 41 shows from 14 Brazilian states.
The show Men in Soles of WindDirected by Rodrigo Matheus, features a meeting of strangers at an airport. However, with the new control policies, the two face problems with Customs, getting stuck inside the airport. A show that alternates comic scenes and imagery moments without the use of words, where the duo uses circus, dance and theater techniques in a plot that brings together the lives of these two strangers, trapped in the immigration room. The play is performed by the actors, who are circus performers and dancers, Bruno Rudolf (2011 APCA Award for Around the World in 80 Days) and Ricardo Rodrigues.Start: 07/09/2014 00:00
