The show Joana D'arpo, from Gardi Gutter (Switzerland), designed and interpreted by actress Gardi Hutter, one of the most important female comic references. On the stage of Dona Bilica's Circus, the actress is a washerwoman surrounded by basins, soap, clotheslines and mountains of dirty clothes.
Between delusions and ridicule, Joana dreams of great heroic actions against enemies, turning her laundry into a surrealist battlefield, where humor is a survival strategy.
