The show KAMISHIBAI, from company Dreaming Caravan, enters the scene at Sesc Prainha with the storyteller Alessandra Nascimento and musician Rafael Padawan. Together they present two beautiful and important legends of Japanese folklore:
Tanabata Matsuri - legend that gave rise to the Festival of the Stars - deals with a shepherd and a celestial weaver, who loses her sacred mantle and cannot return to her kingdom in the clouds. Urashima Tarot, legend of a fisherman who helps a turtle in trouble. As a way of repaying his help, she takes him to discover the wonders of the deepest depths of the sea.
