The text of the Franco-Uruguayan playwright Sergio Blanco was created to be performed in non-conventional spaces and in rudimentary, very basic English, typical of someone who needs to communicate in a language that is not their own. In the Brazilian montage, Kassandra is presented as an artist-performer of a nightclub, in which the Trojan heroine resurfaces today, in her crude immigrant English, to retell her story and demystify her own myth, a hybrid of mythology and pop culture.
