Inspired by those loose games in the backyard, the Afro-Brazilian rituals and the work songs, the play In my backyard there's a sea of play is presented by Roda Viva Cultural Group No. L3 floor of Shopping Iguatemi. Driven by essential rhythms of Brazilian popular culture, such as jongo, coco, chorinho, maculelê, bumba meu boi and maracatu, the artists tell, dance and sing stories populated by sacis, mermaids, oxen and clowns. No Meu Quintal tem um Mar de Brincar marks the celebration of 10 years of history of Grupo Cultural Roda Viva, Cia de Florianópolis dedicated to the research and performance of Brazilian popular manifestations translated into toys and games, singing, dancing, storytelling and clowning.
