Walking along the pier of any port is the boatman Sam who, between his daydreams, seeks attentive ears to listen to a story that recounts the trajectory of his father, an old sailor who one day went in search of an island and never came back. . As if reliving his father's own journey, Sam chronicles an epic journey across non-existent rivers, surviving battles between sailors and pirates, convincing an ambitious king and finally facing his lonely freedom. The show is free inspired by the book “O Conto da Ilha Desconhecida” by José Saramago. The show features performance and dramaturgy by Mário Cortês, an artist from Uberlândia, MG.
