From the 1st to the 30th of September, Florianópolis receives the 11th edition of the Festival Palco Giratório Sesc - largest performing arts event in the state. Theater, dance, circus, music and urban interventions are part of the programme, which also includes workshops and debates. For this year, there will be a total of 41 shows from 14 Brazilian states.
The show The God of Fortune. Alfenim Theater Collective (João Pessoa/PB) tells the story of Wang, a landowner in Imperial China sunk in debt who is forced to sell his own daughter to his creditor to pay off the debt. The owner will leave the primitive forms of capital accumulation to dedicate himself to speculation and will learn how the other is transformed into pure appearance.Start: 10/09/2014 22:00
