In order to examine the ethical dimension of life and encourage the search for wisdom, The judgment of Socrates starring Tonico Pereira. The show, a free adaptation by author Ivan Fernandes of Plato’s “Apology for Socrates”, is presented in the form of a monologue, in which Tonico stages Socrates’ defense during the trial for which he was sentenced to death by poisoning.
