Show The Book of Spirits – The Kardec Saga

! - This event/schedule has already happened - !

Inspired by Kardec's book of the same name, the play The Spirits' Book - Kardec's Saga is an adaptation of specific passages from the life of the French educator, writer and translator Hippolyte León Denizard Rivail, in the 19th century: from the moment he is introduced to mediumistic experiences, addressing the turning table sessions, his research, the maturation of his faith, the contact with the Spirit of Truth and the difficulties, until the decision to publish his first book on the Spiritist Doctrine, called “The book of spirits”, under the pseudonym Allan Kardec. Unlike the production Allan Kardec – A look at eternity, in which the life and work of the missionary are highlighted, from his birth to his death, in The book of spirits – Kardec's saga there is no proposal for a biography, but rather , to highlight fundamental scenarios that gave rise to his first major work on Spiritist Codification. Therefore, they are two independent productions, not compromising the viewer's understanding if they have not yet watched Allan Kardec – A look at eternity. In other words, the public can view without fear and appreciate the exciting text of a unique stage of spiritualism.
