Oresteia I and Oresteia II shows

! - This event/schedule has already happened - !

The Oresteia trilogy (composed of the tragedies: Agamemnon; The Coephoras; and The Eumenides) is Aeschylus' final work. In this work, the Greek author makes his inevitable – although unavoidable – vote in favor of moving beyond the death drive: this is not a question of returning to the mother's womb, but rather of arriving at an existential instance beyond man.

In Oresteia I, King Agamemnon returns from Troy, after having won the war, and is murdered by his wife, Clytenestra.

In Oresteia II Orestes, son of Agamemnon and Clytenestra, returns home to avenge his father's death by murdering his own mother. Then, feeling madness approaching, he runs away.
