The show, directed by Jefferson Bittencourt, tells the story of Othello, president of an important company who falls into a trap set by his secretary, Iara. She convinces Othello that he is being betrayed by his wife, Desdemona. Because of this, man is driven to the limits of wrath because of his jealousy and led to this cynical and diabolical game.
This piece rescues the content of the original work, from William Shakespeare, staged numerous times around the world. The show aims to investigate the theme of love and jealousy, having as a starting point, Shakespeare's own quote: "The proud devours himself". The play is a realization of Persona Co. of theater, owner of award-winning shows that have already toured throughout Brazil and abroad, such as F.
