the theatrical play Parasites, written by the German playwright Marius von Mayenburg and staged by Realejo Encena Group, formed by academics from Performing Arts Course da UFSC, return to the stage UFSC Theater in this weekend.
According to producers, the parasite destroys the host and exchange is not established, therefore, the supply is harmful. In Parasites, whoever gives what the other needs, must suffer. Contrary to what is apparent, the relationship of dependence does not act only for the good. Everyone needs something, they look for what they need, they get it and they return to calm. The dilemma of: “needing yourself and at the same time destroying yourself” is staged and reveals feelings of destruction and torture.
Montage emerged in the discipline of Creative Processes of the Performing Arts Course da UFSC and, in addition to the students, it has the special participation of the professor, doctor in Theater, Paulo Ricardo Berton, who guided the group. The piece also received support from Yuri Wagner, Architecture academic, in the scenario design.
