The show Pinocchio Etc and Such , from Teatro Por um Triz (São Paulo/SP), presents the adventure of the wooden puppet who wanted to be people, told in an original way. In the plot, four carpenters build the puppet and animate the materials available in the carpentry shop: the saws become the sea monster, the hammer becomes a theater puppet and the tools are transformed to bring Carlo Collodi's tale to life. O 9th International Animation Theater Festival, FITA, will be held in Florianópolis and in eight cities in Santa Catarina, with the main objective of disseminating the language of Animation Theater in the State, turning to the general public, also enabling cultural exchange between artists, theorists and students of the Performing Arts.
