O Russian State Ballet presents the show The Nutcracker, which has been enjoyed by over 5 million people in 18 countries. The presentation arrives for the first time in Brazil with 50 components, among them, ten main soloists of the great theaters of Russia, corps de ballet, assistants and technicians.
The show tells the story of Marie, a rather sad little girl, whose godfather Drosselmeyer gives her a doll (The Nutcracker) as a gift on Christmas Eve, who transforms into a prince. In the piece, the magic of Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese dance, the flower waltz and the fairy dance stand out. The Nutcracker is considered by many to be one of the greatest classical ballets ever performed. A true fable about the transition from childhood to adolescence, based on the immortal theme of love and the forces of evil.
