Last day - November 6th - for Florianópolis to see the story of Anne Frank and her family live on stage. The company República da Arte stages an adaptation of the book The Diary of Anne Frank, which reports the experience of two families confined in a hiding place in Holland, to escape Nazi persecution. For the show's director, Lauchi Gamarra, “art is a healing tool for people, and bringing this theme back to the present day makes it possible for us to develop more empathy for each other”. Tickets are now on sale, and the presentation in other municipalities of Santa Catarina is scheduled for 2020.
